Hello 2024!π This marks my first post for the year and I'm excited.
Since the new year began, i have been reflecting about "purpose"...
Myles Munroe once said, 'When the purpose of a thing is unknown, abuse is inevitable.'..... It got me thinking, it's like unboxing a new gadget without reading the manual---difficulties arise, you most likely not utilize it to its full potential or eventually, you find yourself reaching for the manual.
We often set resolutions: Learn a skill, eat healthier, find a better job, read more, network more. But do we ask ourselves 'why'?
The 'why' holds the key to direction and fulfillment.
I've started to filter my tasks through these questions.
β Does this task align with my goals this year?
β Is this task a means to an end?
β Is this task an end itself?
β Are there simpler alternatives?
β Would I regret not doing this in the future?
This year, it's less about general activities and more about purpose-driven actions.
Cheers to intentionality and clarityπ―π
